Lastly, there are a lot of architectural salvage items from the historic La Posada Hotel that the family built/owned and was torn down in 1977. La Posada inspired the Mission Inn and other fantasy Mexico Inn hotels. The grandfather went in the night before it was bulldozed and took what he could. Redlands auctions owner is an historic buff and knew the back story. Years ago his dad auctioned off the warehouses full of furnishings, windows even old sinks and johns!” Today an abandoned mall is in its place.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves. It’s all very lovely and in beautiful condition.

I have posted about 80 pictures and will update when anything changes. Another very beautiful estate sale!

Find The Gems

Antiques Road Show sheds some light on the rarity of a Walt Whitman Civil War letter he appraised during a 2014 Chicago visit courtesy of Claremont’s number one estate sale expert. Zoe agrees that there are always a few gems if you know how to look.

What can I say. I’ve worked with Zoe many times over the years and she is always professional and accurate. We’re lucky to have her!
