It’s a Zoe TeBeau Mid Century – Antique/Vintage Ottoman, Indio Asian, South East Asian Art & Decor in Alhambra!

Beautiful home filled with 19th-20th Century period styles. Ottoman, Indo-Asian and South East Asian
styles of furnishings, lighting, bronze sculptures. The executor shared with me the owner’s inspiration
began with Shangri La an Islamic-style mansion built by heiress Doris Duke near Diamond Head in Honolulu,
Hawaii which is now a museum and the Doris Duke Foundation. On visits to Duke’s home in Honolulu in the
early 1960’s it started his 40 year hunt for collecting this style for his home in Beverly Hills and
downsized the best of the best to his Alhambra home for the last 20 years. It’s just full of beautiful
things.

Instruments, masks, sculptures in dance and reverence poses, copper enamelware and cloisionne, lacquer
ware, screens, cabinets, chests, northern Thai sculptures of the Buddha and devotees, textiles, woodblock
prints, unbelievable lighting, rugs and interesting books on his interest related subject matter. Plus all
the usual fun things. All major newer appliances.

concern for security I ask that you leave all purses and bags in your car. I have plenty of help to assist
you. Boxes for gathering are acceptable.
